BOOK - THE BOY and THE CAT

THE CAT is based on Sheila’s own cat, Whitey (or YT for short) in the 1970’s -She always leant a paw as Sheila animated at her light box..
THE BOY was drawn from her young Nephew NIgel - now a Grandad.This book grew from a 10 minute
animated film Sheila made called “The Boy and The Cat” which gained an “Amateur Oscar “ and a hand shake from Jimmy Stewart when it won the “MOVIE MAKER 10 BEST AWARD” in 1975.

This adventure story is set within the snows of Christmas and covers the whole gamut of emotions from fun to sadness and from scary to crazy. It would make a GREAT present for any youngster from 3 to 93 particularly if they love cats ! Written in rhyming couplets it is really fun to read out loud at bedtime, particularly Xmas Eve!
