Hand Painted Cel THE BOY 2 CATS and THE RAINBOW 1974 - FIghting The Indigo Octopussy who is the blocking their way to the next colour to save "the Pot of Gold"

Sheila's FIRST epic lasting 20 minutes and shot on Super 8 film over over 1 year whilst she was still teaching art.

IT is the sequel to her 10 minute award winning "Boy & the Cat." THis did NOT win awards but it did win praise for the art work and idea from International Magazine Movie Maker who said it was "An Amazing animation highlighting the fact that Sheila needs to invest in a higher end camera and better sound equipment. " This she did and went on to make a career from her animation. The film features Sheila's old friend Whitey and her kitten little Tab and her nephew NIgel "the BOy" being scooped up by a thundercloud from the top of The Groyne into an action packed adventure passing through every colour of the Rainbow to save the Pot of Gold at the end from the clutches of the dreaded BLACK KNIGHT!.

Sheila reckons she learnt more BECAUSE it failed .. AND it enabled her to get into the habit of creating a bit of animation every day of her life whatever the weather!
