The Groyne at the mouth of the Tyne just says "welcome" and Sheila has been drawing and painting it since she was 22. because she loves the place. Now 63 years later she paints another version - using watercolour she hopes you might like it and maybe will invest £60 in it to help keep her 3 Tyneside charities afloat.
If you love the place as much as she does you might feel like buying.. or maybe invest in Sheila's book "Sheila from Shields" featuring the Groyne and other paintings of Shields along with work by loads of folks she taught and quite a few well known Geordie faces from Pam Royle to Mike Neville.
