Sheila was attending Birmingham School for Training Art Teachers and had just discovered a meaning to her life.. her job was to teach in such a way as to help every individual bring out the best in themselves, enjoy making and feel THEY had a purpose to be here too.
Sheila says:-
"They also showed us hat we are ALL part of Nature - she builds in patterns from atoms to universe for her purposes - we are PART of that pattern making process and build our patterns in tune.. this was the FIRST painting of nature I did inspired by this philosophy... as well as a sef portrait
looking at the painting-her hope for the future shows...
