I can see the influence of Kore Bondesons Art work in the figures. He was a Norwegian exchange student with my brother Peter .He came to stay when I was 12/13 and brought wth him his sketch book full of figures in action- with strong rather sad overtones of Munch. Up till then I had never seen art like it. Just shows how new elements introduced in your early teens can have HUGE ongoing effect... he even drew a portrait of me at 13.
