ORIGINAL -FISH QUAY & PILOTS JETTY '26 A4 Framed Watercolour.
Sheila's Dad became Tyne Pilot Master in 1947 when she was 7 so she and her brother Peter used the Tyne and the Pilot Cutters & Foy Boats as their playground.. a favourite spot was The Pilot's jetty where the cutters would anchor in between jobs. .. so she has painted and drawn it all her life. She took the drawing created on the spot in 1962 and recreated it in colour March '26 to keep her memories alive.
PIlot Cutters at the jetty -could be the Caer Urfa, Progress or Tertia and with the High and Low Lights of the then busy North Shields Fish Key behind.
Painted especially for this show which is about "memories" in the hope of bringing much needed funds into our 3 Tyneside Charities.
£60 is £20 each ... it all helps!
