In the late 1980's Sheila was invited by Lesley Oakden, then in charge of children's programming at TTTV,to "stand in" for her at a conference in Lanzarote. Turned out that it was an TV international buyers, sellers and producers market. The sort of place her agent would attend to sell her animations. However it was an experience to meet a FInnish TV producer who said" Ah Sheila Graber. you used to make very good animations - they sold very well in our Country." She was pleased but felt she had retired.
It was VERY strange to be on the other end and see how the buying was done. But the views of the beach were not strange at all - just amazing..£50 covers A5 frame, packing, tracked postage .. any profit flies over to our 3 charities.
