These 6 drawings are part of many more that Sheila drew in 1958 when she, her Mam and Dad and brother Peter with Fiance ELizabeth travelled round Scotland on holiday in her Dads old Ford 8 car.

Starting off at 01 The Borders on to 02 PItlochry Hydro, over to the West Coast to 03,04 Glencoe finally ending up at 05,06 Loch Lomond.

They did it the hard way.. Sheila slept in a tent with Elizabeth, Peter in his own tent,Mam & Dad in the car! Luckily Sheila wrote the name of most places on her drawings so we can track the journey. In those Art College days she carried a large A2 drawing board and wooden box- made by her ship's chippy grandad -holding dippy in pens and ink as well as pencils/paint everywhere .. she says "how on earth I managed to draw these large images on the fly is beyond me me now.. but I do know they are some of the most honest and best drawings I've ever done!"..

They have survived 68 years in her care .. the archive are not interested in anything but local art - so here they are on sale in the hope they find a good home and help her 3 charities in their travels.
