ORIGINAL MILL DAM & DFDS FERRY Sept 17th '26 A4 unframed Watercolour
The Mill Dam has attracted Sheila as a subject from the 1970's onwards .. in all weathers and all times of day . and even night.
Here the DFDS Ferry between North Shields and Amsterdam was docked so she painted it and then went on to catch a couple of pigeons as they strutted round the quay.... This has proved such a popular view she has recently painted it again in the comfort of home!
