I loved the market from an early age as my folks visited most Saturdays. The lads shoutng their wares from the backs of lorries, plaster dogs to bags of apples - "only 2 pence to you misses".. So when I lived near it in Pollard Street I took my sketch book and drew the action.. gave away all the other drawings to friends this is the last - maybe it brings back memories for YOU too?
