I loved the market from an early age as my folks visited most Saturdays. The lads shouting their wares from the backs of lorries, plaster dogs to bags of apples - "only 2 pence to you misses".. So when I lived near it in Pollard Street I took my sketch book and drew the action.. gave away all the other drawings to friends and Shields archive ..this is the last maybe it brings back memories for YOU too?
