ORIGINAL- STILL LIFE WITH SHERRY 1952
Painted by Sheila for homework as a pupil at The Girls High School when she was 12. The subject "stills life" would be chosen by her art teacher at that time Mrs Legg- Nail.
Sheila says " I see I included my Mam's cherished Sherry Decanter which came out every New Year. I know I was 12 because I am sitting by the window in 3 Lavington Rd and the light is shining through the leaded glass casting shadows on the draped cloth."
