Sheila has stood and painted/drawn on the Mill Dam from 1970's onward - and has always looked North to the Coal Staithes or South to the old Quay and Ferry. She drew the Customs House from the side in 1959 but this is the FIRST time she has tackled the FRONT in all it's splendour...which befits the fantastic art that is displayed inside - both painting and acting (and a very good Dame Bella's Cafe!)
