Sheila has drawn the Tyne from the age of 13 .. here she is at 37 painting the river as she saw it when she stood on RIver Drive overlooking the river... listening to the non-stop pounding of the pile drivers as she worked. All her original painting and drawing of that era have been sold for our 3 charities .. This 4' Oil Painting was only recently discovered by Sheila as it was bought by her friend Carolyn at Boldon Auctions years ago for £25!!.. worth quite a bit more now - her last painting of the Tyne of that era sold for £1000..keep Yer eyes Charked!!
