PRINT-- St JOHNS - 1959

This is Sheila's Lithograph for her NDD (National Diploma in Design) Examination piece at Sunderland Art College in 1959. incorporating St Johns' church (and minister) Whitburn Pithead and a passing train for good measure .. at least she passed the exam! It was drawn in special ink onto a very heavy lithograph stone and printed on an even heavier old fashioned litho press. She couldn't even lift the stone now- so this will never be repeated.
