Shortly after the New Year started Sheila caught a nasty stomach bug.. you know how rotten that makes you feel. However today her friend Jen suggested they drive to "The North Side" for a change of view. Of course Sheila took her paints .. and seeing St Mary's Island could not resist having another go at it after a mere 70 years..The weather was misty, rainy and cold - however the car was warm and she managed this sketch... which perhaps reflects the fact she was feeling a bit bleak herself ...whereas in the 1954 painting she looked on top of the world!!.. the feeling will return soon.
