KIM was a golden retriever who played a huge part in Sheila and her families lives. With them from a tiny teddy- bear puppy peeping out of the raincoat of her Merchant Navy Capt.Dad when he brought her home in 1948 -when Sheila was 8 -until she died the same year as Sheila's Dad in 1963. Here in 1957 Sheila is studying her in drawings done whilst training at Sunderland Art College.
