John LIghtfoot MBE who ran "Northern Window Blinds" a business in Sunderland in 1988 commissioned Sheila to create a logo for him and later the 12 images were used for a Sunderland Echo Based Calendar. This one is of Sunderland Civic Centre Designed in 1965 by the architectural practice of Sir Basil Spence and selected as one of the best of seven regional projects by Building magazine in 1970. Now demolished in 2022 to make way for housing. This drawing remains a testament to the "New Brutalism "style . Popular then - out of favour now.
