IN the 1970's whilst still an Art Teacher in a local Comp. School Sheila would try and tour Shields when she could gripping her A1 Drawing board with Cartridge paper pinned at the ready and box of "dippy in pens" with Indian INk..thanks to which the drawings NEVER faded - like ones done in felt tips do today! Her usual haunt was by the river... but one day her Mam suggested she have a go at Trinity Church - a long established and popular building in Shields...so she did ..and here it is ... glad she did as Trinity was to be demolished in 1980
