Tyne Tugs "ALNMOUTH" and "BEAMISH" anchored at the Mill Dam River Tyne and drawn in pencil by Sheila on the spot in 1962. She spent many weekends down by the river with her paper firmly pinned to her A1 drawing board and pencil or pen in hand to catch any life she could. .. ships go back a long way for her .. her earliest memory was with her Mam and brother peter on her Dad's Merchant Navy ship at Falmouth on VE night ... great fireworks through the porthole and a whole bar of Cadbury's chocolate EACH!
