Painted on site in 1975 with pen and ink wash.. Sheila has drawn and painted Westoe Village all her life - having lived just a mile away from it in her early years and walked through it from the age of 5 holding hands withe her older brother Peter as they went through the "Cut" once a week to piano lessons with Vera Segal in St. MIchael's Avenue. Up to the age of 13 she walked through it on her way to the Girl's High School - before she moved to the Lawe Top... however her love of the Village has stayed and she still tries to capture it's magic whenever she can.
